From the outside, you won’t notice it, but behind our hotel in Guldsmedgade there is a large, cosy courtyard. A special place with a special charm.
You will get mesmerized when you step into our patio. There are so many details, and every lantern, pot and plant are carefully chosen to add to the magical atmosphere. You will find many cosy nooks with large old trees and winding branches.
On a summer’s day, it will feel like you have travelled to the Mediterranean and it’s hard to believe that you can find this little oasis in the heart of Aarhus.
A part of the patio is covered, making it an obvious place to sit in the evening when the dew falls or if it rains. With heaters, it is possible to use the patio all year round. Enjoy a glass of wine or bring a cup of coffee, a blanket, and a book.

With a large window section and a view of the charming Guldsmedgade, our café has a central place in the hotel. In the café, there is a lounge-like atmosphere.
In the morning, this is where we prepare our wonderful breakfast buffet consisting of lovely organic delights. We are proud holders of the Gold Organic Dining Label.
During the day, the café is also well attended, where guests have the opportunity to work on their laptops or read the newspaper and have a cup of coffee.
In the evening, this is the place where you can enjoy a nice glass of wine before visiting one of the many restaurants in Aarhus.
